The Lockdown Diary - DAY 88

A day of firsts of sorts, today.
Mrs C took me the shops. Big Tesco, warehouse-high roof, mask on (another first) and not allowed to touch, only to point. First time I'd sat up front in the car in three months as well. There are clearly a lot of people making chocolate chip cookies as there were neither chips nor brown sugar (which are required for the recipe I have, but you can substitute brown sugar). First shop for me in three months...
I had plaice for tea (previous stock, not day bought) and that was the first go at that I'd had in lockdown, and the one other, I had my first full Crohn's clinic over the phone. One of my regular consultants, a bloke I've seen work his way through the ranks and develop over time who carried out a particularly effective call. Normal diagnostics to do, will be sent out to me, and next one in six months, usual provisos if anything goes awry between then and now.
